Policies are in place to ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and exceptional experience. These guidelines help maintain a harmonious environment, guaranteeing the utmost comfort and satisfaction for all our valued clients.

Salon Policies

Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled. We ask that you give 24-hour notice or more if your appointment needs to be rescheduled or canceled. 

Same day cancelations or less than 24 hours’ notice you will be charged a non-refundable rescheduling/cancelation fee of 50%-75% of service cost.

Please note that in case of continuous cancellations or rescheduling, the salon reserves the right to disallow pre-booking of services and will require full payment of services prior to booking. (The cancellation/rescheduling fee for lash services may vary. An additional policy will be provided when booking that service).

Appointments Reschedule/Cancellation

All no-show appointments will be charged a non-refundable no-show fee of 75% of service.

Appointment No Show

Please show respect for your technician’s time, as reserving a slot and then canceling at the last minute is similar to your boss telling you at the last minute that you can’t come to work, resulting in no pay.

Given that we are an appointment-only salon, slots are in high demand. Reserving your slot ensures the nail professional is prepared for your service, dedicating that appointment exclusively to you. During your reserved time slot, other clients cannot book with that nail professional. We kindly request that you confirm your appointment to prevent others from taking your slot.

Any unconfirmed appointments will be automatically canceled, allowing other customers to book that time. A reminder is sent out before applying the cancellation fee. If the appointment remains unconfirmed after 24 hours, you will receive a follow-up message stating that the appointment is canceled, and a non-refundable service fee of 50% will be applied.

Appointment confirmation

Appointments are automatically canceled should you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your appointment. Arriving late would require that you reschedule your appointment to a later time/day. No show cancellation fee will be applied.

All credit card transactions will be charged an additional 3% fee.

If you are sick or have Covid-19 please reschedule your appointment. We also ask if you are getting over an illness or have come in contact with someone who is sick, we ask that you please wear a mask upon entering the salon for added safety for our staff.

Please note the State of NJ Board of Cosmetology requires that no services be performed on an individual who has or shows signs of infection on toes or nails

Should you know you have an infection or are being treated for an infection we ask that you please reschedule your appointment. Services are unable to be performed unless cleared by a doctor. Please note we are not doctors and are unable to diagnose potential infections/ recommend treatments. However should we see or feel that an infection of any sort is present and we are not performing services on a “healthy nail” we will not continue the service and ask that you reschedule your appointment until seen by a medical professional.

Nail Health

Our hope is that you have a wonderful service. However, we do know unforeseen circumstances do arise. With that being said, should something happen to your nails within 72 hours of completion of service such as polish chipping, lifting, cracking, and anything that we may have done to cause the service from lasting, we will fix it at no cost to you.

Should something happen after the work guarantee window, you will have to pay for the cost to fix the damaged nail. Note this work guarantee is not applicable to regular lacquer services as this is not made to last for a long period of time.

Also, keep in mind this has to be something that we did to cause this service from lasting, meaning you cannot use your nails as tools, bite your nails off, or simply not like the polish color or artwork and want a change. We will evaluate the issue upon arrival.

Work guarantee

We, as technicians, provide you with a recommendation regarding how long nails should last. Please note that this recommendation is based on the general population of our clients. However, we understand that some clients may have a different experience based on factors such as the type of nail they have (oily nails or nails that curl from the front or sides), the type of work they do, and the products they expose their hands to. Nail biting habits also play a role in how long a manicure will last.

It’s essential to keep in mind that in order for your manicures to last, it will require effort on the client’s part. We kindly ask that you remember that your nails are like gems, not tools, and they are not indestructible. We highly recommend using cuticle oil as it helps maintain nail health and prolongs the life of your manicure. Not all products are suitable for prolonged hand exposure, so wearing gloves can significantly extend the life of your manicures.

Additionally, keeping up with your manicure maintenance is crucial. If your enhancement gets caught in your hair, it’s an indication that you are due for a service. Please note that keeping products on your nails for longer than recommended can cause unwanted nail discoloration, especially if water becomes trapped under the enhancement. Lastly, we strongly discourage gluing broken nails together as it can be detrimental to your nail health.

We love healthy nails, so we kindly request your assistance in helping us maintain the health and longevity of your nails by treating them as the precious gems they are.

Refunds

Should you need to use your phone we ask that it please be in a level that does not disrupt another guest. Please refrain from putting your phone on speaker. We also ask that your hands remain free and accessible to ensure a smooth and timely service.

Children are always welcomed in the salon, we ask that the child remain next to you or in the designated waiting area. We also ask that children refrain from playing/ jumping on any salon equipment. Note our vision of the salon is to create a relaxing experience for all guest. We thank you for your cooperation with this.

Please note Lash services have an additional policy that needs to be signed prior to your lash service. Lash policy may slightly differ, you will only receive the policy should you schedule a lash service.
