Salon Policies

Policies are in place to ensure that every guest enjoys a seamless and exceptional experience. These guidelines help maintain a harmonious environment, guaranteeing the utmost comfort and satisfaction for all our valued clients.

Your understanding and cooperation with our policies enable us to provide top-notch service and uphold the standards of excellence that define our salon.

Appointments Reschedule/Cancellation

Appointments can be rescheduled or canceled. We ask that you give 24-hour notice or more if your appointment needs to be rescheduled or canceled. Same-day cancelations or less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged a non-refundable rescheduling/ cancelation fee of 75% of the service cost. Please note that with continuous cancellation or rescheduling, the salon reserves the right not to allow pre-booking services and will require full payment of services before booking. (Lash cancelation/rescheduling fee may differ; an additional policy will be sent out when booking that service)

Appointment No Show

All no-show appointments will be charged a non-refundable no-show fee of 75% of service.

Appointment confirmation

Please be respectful of your tech's time as reserving a slot and then canceling last minute is as if your boss is telling you last minute you can't come to work that day, and you will not get paid.

Since we are an appointment-only salon, appointments are in high demand, and reserving your time slot ensures the nail professional is ready for your service. Your appointment is dedicated to you, the client. With that appointment being exclusive to you, other clients are unable to make an appointment with that nail professional during your time slot. Please confirm your appointment to ensure no one takes your time slot.

Any unconfirmed appointments will be automatically canceled, allowing another customer to reserve that time. A reminder is sent out before applying the cancelation fee. Should the appointment still be unconfirmed after 24 hours, you will get a follow-up message that the appointment is canceled, and a non-refundable service fee of 75% will be charged.

Late Appointments

Appointments are automatically canceled should you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment. If you arrive late, you must reschedule your appointment to a later time/day. A no-show cancellation fee will be applied.

Credit Card Payments

All credit card transactions will be charged an additional 3% fee.

Sick/Covid

If you are sick or have Covid-19 please reschedule your appointment. If you are recovering from an illness or have come in contact with someone sick, please wear a mask when you come to the salon for added safety for our staff.

Nail Health

The State of NJ Board of Cosmetology requires that no services be performed on an individual who has or shows signs of infection on toes or nails. If you happen to know you have an infection or are being treated for an infection, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment. Services cannot be performed unless cleared by a doctor. Please note we are not doctors and are unable to diagnose potential infections/ recommend treatments. However, should we see or feel that an infection of any sort is present and we are not performing services on a "healthy nail," we will not continue the service and ask that you reschedule your appointment until seen by a medical professional.

Work guarantee

Our hope is that you have a wonderful service. However, we do know unforeseen circumstances do arise. With that being said, should something happen to your nails within 72 hours of completion of service such as polish chipping, lifting, cracking, and anything that we may have done to cause the service from lasting, we will fix it at no cost to you.

Should something happen after the work guarantee window, you will have to pay for the cost to fix the damaged nail. Note this work guarantee is not applicable to regular lacquer services as this is not made to last for a long period of time.

Also, keep in mind this has to be something that we did to cause this service from lasting, meaning you cannot use your nails as tools, bite your nails off, or simply not like the polish color or artwork and want a change. We will evaluate the issue upon arrival.

Nail Care

We as a tech give you a recommendation as to how long nails should last. Please note the recommendation is based on the general population of our clients; however, we do understand that some clients may have a different experience based on the type of nail they have (oily nails/nails that curl in from front or sides, the type work they do, and the products they expose their hands to, nail bitters, all play factors on how long a manicure will last). 

Please keep in mind that in order for your manicures to last, it will require effort on the client's part. We'd like to ask you to please keep in mind that your nails are gems, not tools, and they are not indestructible. We recommend using cuticle oil. This helps your nails stay healthy and keep a longer-lasting manicure; not all products are suitable for your hands to be exposed to, so wearing gloves will help your manicures last, keeping up with your manicure maintenance should your enhancement get caught in your hair then this is indication you are due for service.

Please note keeping products on your nails for longer than recommended can cause unwanted nail discoloration should water be exposed and trapped under the enhancement, never glue your broken nail together this can be unhealthy for your nails. 

We love healthy nails, so we ask that you help us continue to keep your nails healthy by treating them as gems.

Refunds

No refunds. No exceptions. Products and time are used, and that can’t be given back.

Phone

If you need to use your phone, we ask that it please be at a level that does not disrupt another guest. Please refrain from putting your phone on speaker. We also ask that your hands remain free and accessible to ensure a smooth and timely service.


Nail Art Booking & Cancellation Policy

Please be advised that if you are booking nail art, you are required to select the appropriate nail art category to ensure proper time is allocated for your service.

If you prebook nail art and later decide not to have it done, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel the nail art portion of your appointment.

Failure to provide at least 24 hours' notice will result in the full amount for the prebooked nail art to be charged, even if you choose not to receive the service.

Time is specifically blocked for all scheduled services, including nail art. Opting out of the service without proper notice is treated as a same-day cancellation.

Children

We value creating a peaceful and relaxing environment for all of our clients. While we love children, we kindly ask that the following guidelines be observed to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone:

  1. Children Not Receiving Services: We request that children who are not receiving a service refrain from accompanying you to the salon. This allows us to maintain a calm atmosphere for our clients.
  2. Supervision and Behavior: If children are waiting for a service, we ask that they remain seated in the waiting area. If they are using a tablet or phone, please ensure the volume is kept low or headphones are used to avoid disrupting others.
  3. Respect for Salon Equipment and Furniture: To ensure safety and maintain our salon’s furnishings, we kindly ask that children refrain from jumping on salon equipment, placing their feet on salon furniture, or eating and drinking on the salon furniture.

Lash service

Please note Lash/Hair services may have an additional policy that needs to be signed prior to your lash or Hair service. Lash/Hair policy may slightly differ; you will only receive the policy should you schedule a lash or Hair service.


Pets

No pets are permitted in the salon. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), trained service animals are welcome.


Right to Refuse Service

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all clients and staff.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone for any legitimate, non-discriminatory reason, including but not limited to:

  • Disruptive, aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior
  • Harassment, intimidation, or disrespect toward staff or other clients
  • Display of behavior or appearance that suggests that a client is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs which puts the safety of staff or other clients at risk
  • Failure to follow salon policies, hygiene standards, or safety guidelines
  • Suspected illness or condition, including but not limited to open wounds, contagious skin conditions, or fungal infections, that may pose a health or safety risk
  • Requests for services that cannot be safely or properly performed
  • Late arrival that interferes with scheduled appointments

Any behavior that compromises the health or safety of our staff or other clients will result in immediate refusal or termination of service.

Refusal of service will always be exercised in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic under law.

If service is refused or discontinued, any applicable charges or deposits will be handled in accordance with our booking and cancellation policies. In cases where service is refused due to client behavior or policy violation, any deposits paid will be forfeited, or a cancellation fee will be charged.
